'No one right way to do art'
How Arts for All Wisconsin uplifts the work of disabled artists
Kevin Lempp is the social media and marketing manager for Arts for All Wisconsin, a statewide nonprofit that provides programming for, and supports the work of, disabled artists. Kevin emailed me — after reading the first part of my 4-part series about Sandra Lomeli and her kids, Alex and Rich — to ask if I would feature Arts for All in one of my newsletter’s series.
And, yes! I absolutely plan to do this in the future because I want to spread the word about this organization that amplifies the voices of disabled people through their artistic expression. The only issue is that Kevin and I both wanted the newsletter to post in time for people to learn about Art for All’s annual awards ceremony and fundraiser, which will be taking place in Madison on May 17.
